TAM Cards® for Retail Stores
Retail stores, including grocers, liquor stores, and big box stores need to meet liquor licensing and alcohol beverage awareness training requirements in the State of Nevada. These regulations are applicable for any establishment where beers, wines and liquors, in original packages or by the drink, are sold to a consumer, which is often referred to as off-premise sales.
Retail stores found to be in non-compliance with alcohol education cards could face fines and penalties of $500 to $5000 if employees:
- Do not have their alcohol education cards,
- Have an expired card, or
- Obtained a card through a non-approved provider.
Many may offer alcohol awareness training, but there is only one TAM Card® and only one TAM® provider in Nevada. We offer comprehensive solutions; and, we make sure it’s easy for your employees to get their TAM Card® fast with our online or classroom alcohol awareness training.
